Our Living Rivers and Glens project launched

Very pleased to be working with the Dee and Don Ceilidh Collective in Aberdeenshire to create the Media Map for their Our Living Rivers and Glens project.

The project is about bringing their cultural community back to life in 2021 while remaining 'at home'. The public is asked to participate by:

  • exploring their local environment and their unique local landscapes;

  • capturing their responses in word, sounds, video and images which are being collated on a online media map

Benefits include increased connection to the natural environment and to musical friends after a difficult year.

Hear all about it on BBC Radio Scotland Travelling Folk  starting at 1:27:44 and read all about it on the pages of the Traditional Music Forum.
